Beschrijving: •⁠ ⁠FOR WHOM? •
Chamber music groups interested in experimenting with historically informed ideas and tools.
String or wind duos, trios, quartets, or quintets are welcome (also with piano). An upright piano will be available.

•⁠ ⁠WHAT? •
It’s a day to exchange ideas, listen to each other, experiment with classical and romantic techniques and expressive tools!

•⁠ ⁠REPERTOIRE? •
Classical and romantic repertoire is very welcome. Music from other periods is also possible - please inform us in advance.

•⁠ ⁠TIME? •
Each group will have the opportunity to perform their chosen piece (or a movement) and receive a coaching from the mentors.

•⁠ ⁠WHO IS COACHING? •
- Víctor García - prize-winning cellist (1.prize at Bach Competition) and Professor at HKU Utrecht Conservatorium
- Gijs Laceulle - musician with the 18th Century Orchestra, Freiburg Baroque Orchestra and the Noord Nederlands Orkest
- Xenia Gogu - prize-winning violinist with Ayres Extemporae and member of the Noord Nederlands Orkest

Register here! Each participant has to do an individual registration. State your group under “Instrument” please.

*UPDATE: individual players can't participate in more than two groups and if they do so, they have a special fee for participating in two groups of a unique cost of 35€.

Discover Beethoven’s Eroica like you’ve never heard it before - on period instruments in an intimate chamber setting.
Experience the arrangement tradition from Beethoven’s time, featuring this nonet version by C. F. Ebers.
The natural horn takes center stage in Mozart’s Horn Quintet, performed by internationally acclaimed horn player Gijs Laceulle.
Together with Xenia Gogu, Víctor García, and a new generation of outstanding historical performers, we hope to bring a fresh perspective on these two masterpieces!
